Divine Schism are thrilled to be hosting a show with the mighty SAVAK, from Brooklyn New York! The band are touring their new album Flavors of Paradise, which Brooklyn Vegan called their ‘most toothsome album yet’
The band come with a serious pedigree - formed in 2015 by Sohrab Habibion (Obits, Edsel) and Michael Jaworski (The Cops, Virgin Islands), who play guitars and trade off singing songs, along with drummer Matt Schulz (Holy Fuck, Enon). The live band features Jeff Gensterblum (Small Brown Bike, Her Head’s On Fire) on drums and bassist Matt Hunter (New Radiant Storm King, Silver Jews).
They’ll be joined by Goo, an ace fuzz pop /indie rock band, from Keighley, near Leeds. Can’t wait!
FYI - this gig will be all ages, with under 14s accompanied by adults, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Any qs about access let us know at divineschism@gmail.com.
