CREATING PUPPETS FOR FILM AND TV WITH RICHARD PICKERSGILL (Workshop) - Explore the world of Puppet-Making for Film and TV in this workshop presentation for aspiring creatives.

Richard is currently a Workshop supervisor and Senior armature maker at Mackinnon and Saunders Ltd, an internationally acclaimed company famous for creating award winning animation puppets for film, television and commercials. Credits include Tim Burton's Corpse Bride and Frankenweenie, Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr Fox, Coraline and Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio. During the 23 years he has worked in the industry, he has learnt a broad spectrum of design and construction techniques and has specialised in engineering body armatures and head mechanics for stop motion puppets.

Ages: 16-25 / Duration: 120 mins.

Start Time: 6.00pm (Exit Time: 8.00pm).
