A revamped tour with extra content based on Paul's original Silvertown walk starting at his favourite greasy spoon cafe (cash only!) in North Woolwich then going through Silvertown with some additional scenery & topics added as we head to the finishing point at the brand-new home of the Husk Brewery taproom by Canning Town Station where we can enjoy beers plus delicious burgers.
This tour views the exteriors of sites covered in the Derelict London book & website, including the Millennium Mills, the Tate Institute, the remains of Tay Wharf & the closed down Georges Diner (without the apostrophe!) & the Graving Dock Tavern plus a Victorian church that is now a music hall, social stories from the past and observing all the changes. Even if you have done this walk previously, you will be surprised by the many changes in the area.
