LÍ BAN SPECIAL PREVIEW - To mark the launch of Lí Ban, Paper Owl will host a special Cinemagic Festival preview screening and family Q&A with writer Maire Zepf and Sadbh Breathnach, voice of Lí Ban.

Lí Ban - Fantastical heroes, legendary villains and a reality that bends around Celtic magic, the adventures of sassy 12-year-old, Lí Ban, are some of the wildest ever passed down the Celtic generations. Her quest is now a thrilling, fast-paced adventure anime series for kids 7-9 worldwide.

Transformed mysteriously from girl and dog into mermaid and sea otter, Lí Ban and her faithful Con explore the watery kingdoms of Celtic legend, meeting gods, monsters, giants and wily humans in their search for answers. Who destroyed her homeplace? Why was she transformed? And who is she really? Theirs is an immortal quest through the heart of an ancient Celtic universe into the stories of times and places (almost) forgotten.

*The episodes will be screened in Irish with English subtitles.

Age Recommendation: 7+ / Duration: 60 mins.
