Blyth Power – Dublin Castle stalwarts you might say, over the years. Joseph Porta and extended punk pop famalam have always been fabulous entertainment…recently they have done a couple of shows alongside Attila the Stockbroker of a Sunday afternoon. Ace they have been too… no Attila today but we are on matinee manners with what Attila calls “perky, folk pop punk from the unique, original, enigmatic Blyth Power.” Amen.
We also have Hagar The Womb today…how good is that!?! What a double header. The gals (ok, and boys) who perform cheeky punk pop with good vibes thoroughly in place amongst the righteous punk ethos, and like BP have been doing it yonks. And you know they’ve got great songs. What a brill afternoon.
