The brilliant Kat Coles (vocals), guitarist Neil Smith (This Is The Kit, Slate Trio, etc), and saxophonist Jake McMurchie (Get The Blessing, Michelson Morley, The Jazz Defenders, etc) - three of Bristol's finest musicians - have a rapport and melodic intimacy forged through a decade and a half of playing together in this most sparse of combos. Expect old, forgotten jazz classics and bossas delivered with gentleness, sensitivity, and humour. Unmissable, and pure class.
