This seven-piece band has roots in various performing genres and have come together through strong friendship and a love of performing to create a very warm, cohesive group. Their name comes from the song New York Girls where Jack the sailor is separated from his money, gold watch and clothes by a lady of the night and is forced to wear a barrel to protect his modesty.
Their style is one of perfection heavily decorated with mischievousness, irreverence, mirth and merriment. They are a pleasure to listen to.
Singing mostly Tim’s arrangements of songs they all enjoy, Jane, Kate, Tim, Simon, Poppy, Charlotte and Ed are embarking on what could be a very successful journey into performance.
