New duo Heathling are Nu folk musician Anna McLuckie and improvising flautist Gail Tasker experiment by pairing traditional music with improvisation, old tunes with new approaches, and slow airs with fast-paced jigs.

Between them their collaboration has spanned many genres and collectives. Anna has joined forces with Stuart McCallum, Sèamus Òg, VAAGUE and Hunrosa. Gail Tasker currently performs across the UK with MF Tomlinson, Hiro Ama and For Breakfast.

Tóchar play thoughtful arrangements of traditional and contemporary Celtic tunes on fiddle and guitar. Fran Barrett and Kai Dudley, who met on London’s vibrant session scene, stage intimate and lively dialogues between their instruments, treating guitar and fiddle as musical equals. The duo can often be found hosting traditional music sessions in a variety of London venues such as Morocco Bound, Jamboree and Mascara Bar.
