Event Information
The Dekkertones – Playing authentic ska, and big booted rudeboy reggae. Some call it skinhead reggae, some say boss reggae, whatever you wanna call it, these guys and gal do it brill.
Juxtaposing a male singer with a female singer makes for a great experience… it’s all sweet and honeyed tones and soulful proclaiming either way. What a joyful sound. Rocking a full brass front line and the riddim section always maintaining a nicely skanking rocksteady vibe every tune.
Tunes like ‘Sweet Soul Music’….’Hurts So Good’…’Everything I Own’ etc. Got the look. Got the chops. Do it wonderfully well. Be sure to put on your dancing shoes.
