Bard Edrington V and Karina Wilson’s sound come from the wide open vistas of New Mexico’s diverse landscape. Songs that embrace and capture the history, howling winds and flowing arroyos of the land of enchantment. As his name indicates, Bard is first and foremost, a storyteller, with a tie to a timeless tradition of storytelling - winter nights, dying embers, fortuitous gathering, type storytelling. Karina Wilson’s mesmerizing violin and vocals drip with empathetic emotion for the tale being expressed. She brings the depths of classical understanding of how deeply notes communicate into the salted songs of honky tonk. Touring in support of his fourth solo album, Tired and Branded, the duo entertain with upbeat fiddle and banjo songs and loping ballads.
