Event Information
Thierry Deneux returns to The Kalamazoo with his charming and much-admired string ensemble - a quartet of richly talented players who bring an original and very different sound to the Klub.
How best to describe the Dreamers? Time Out nailed it: "A dynamic jazz-meets-classical project that explores tango, bossa nova, pop, jazz and world music." Not to mention a generous helping of chanson.
For members of the group, the superlatives abound.
Cellist Natalie Rozario - "majestic" (All About Jazz);
Violinist Una Palliser - "extraordinary" (Independent)
Guitarist Patrick Naylor "inventive virtuoso" (Time Out).
Thierry Deneux - percussionist, guitarist, vocalist and winner of a Michael Kamen award as a composer, completes the line-up for what should be another memorable Kalamazoo night.
