Event information
Antoine Brumel is probably the best composer you've never heard of. His Missa Et Ecce Terrae Motus, the ‘Earthquake’ Mass, written in twelve parts, is a gem of early Renaissance polyphony, creating an ethereal ‘wall of sound’. If you like Thomas Tallis’ Spem in Alium , you’ll like this. Alongside the Mass there will be other more well-known Renaissance motets.
