Remembrance: Vaughan Williams - O'Regan - Mozart

Northampton Bach Choir are pleased to present a concert with a theme of remembrance and reflection. The choir will be accompanied by the excellent Bach Camerata led by Richard Laing with soloists Rowan Dymott violin, Kathleen Nic Dhiarmada soprano, Bethany Horak-Hallett mezzo-soprano, Charne Rochford tenor, and Ben McKee bass-baritone.
The programme features three refelctive pieces, beginning with violinist Rowan Dymott and Bach Camerata playing Vaughan Williams' haunting and beautiful Lark Ascending. The choir will then perform Tarik O'Regan's Triptych, a contemp[orary masterpiece which explores the theme of life's transient nature. The evening concludes with Mozart's Requiem a work that has moved audiences for centuries with its profound beauty and emotional depth.
