“As close to perfection as it's possible to be… A Pentangle for the 2020s?”At The Barrier
Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage release their 4th studio album “In The Dark We Grow” on 20th September 2024.
It follows their critically acclaimed 2022 Topic Records album “In The Dark We Grow”. MOJO included the release in their folk albums of the year and declared it “as heartwarming as it is beguiling”; the record reached #3 in the Official UK Folk Album Charts.
They tour the UK this autumn with a one-off band-show line up - their maiden performance to 20,000 people at Cropredy Festival was described by At The Barrier as “As close to perfection as it's possible to be… A Pentangle for the 2020s?”
‘'Arrestingly beautiful' ★★★★★ Songlines
Since emerging in 2016, Hannah & Ben have been defying all conventions of style, genre and compartmentalisation. A touch of ‘Americana’, yet quintessentially English. Traditional, yet contemporary, with their individual writing style. Playful and instinctive, they make music with such panache and natural chemistry it makes perfect sense.
''As heartwarming as it is beguiling' MOJO
