Event information
The Missed Trees are an alt-folk duo from Birmingham consisting of singer-songwriter/guitarist Joe Peacock and singer/fiddle player Louisa Davies-Foley.
They return to Kitchen Garden to launch their third EP, Solitude. They will once again enchant you with haunting melodies and fascinating stories that cover both the personal and political aspects of life.
Joe Peacock has become known as a genre-hopping storyteller in his career as a solo artist, but working with Louisa Davies-Foley he has focused on playing acoustically and taken his songs to another level. Together their voices blend superbly and Louisa’s background in traditional music works perfectly with Joe’s more alternative roots.
Louisa has played in a number of West Midlands based folk bands including Elfynn, The Dirty Old Folkers and Amaranth.
They use carefully crafted harmonies and fiddle parts to augment and add new possibilities to Joe’s creations.
