On Wednesday 20th November, The Pioneer Club is thrilled to be hosting a TEDx Youth Salon event, right here in our legendary and historic St Albans venue.

Join us for an evening of discussion and a talk from our guest keynote speaker ROB ROLFE, the amazing drummer for the incredible ENTER SHIKARI! Rob will talk about about his experiences being in the music industry from a young age, his career journey, and how his creativity has evolved.

We're inviting young people to come along and learn more about achieving their creative ambitions, and contribute their own ideas of what these learning opportunities may look like to them, and even discuss how they would improve them!

The event will feature a keynote presentation, as well as panel discussions and breakout sessions all chaired by local young people who have achieved a career in the creative industry, with the aim to create a larger buzz about the importance of empowerment through creativity.

As well as being a long-standing music venue and the UK's first ever indoor skatepark, the Pioneer Club has a dedicated mission to providing an inclusive alternative learning environment for St Alban's Youth, encouraging them to pursue creative dreams in music, skate and the performing arts.

It's sure to be an exciting and inspirational evening, and we highly encourage the younger members of the St Albans community to join us! The age limit is 14+, and all under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

Our cafe will be open from 5:30-9pm for refreshments and networking.
