A hugely popular Wirral comedy night returns for another serving of hilarity on Friday June 13, 2025.
The pro-nights of comedy featuring an MC and three superb acts from the UK comedy scene plus food from Wirral caterers take place at Thornton Hough Village Club.
After full houses during a successful debut season in 2024 – DBN Events will be serving up five more nights of comedy throughout 2025.
The night on June 13 will be headlined by the amazing PETER BRUSH
A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.
Peter performs at all major clubs across the UK, as well as having done many of its biggest festivals, he’s also played shows in Switzerland, Norway and Hungary. Formerly a BBC New Comedy Award finalist, he has written for several BBC Radio 4 shows and has been tour support for Alexei Sayle, Jonathan Pie, Jason Manford, Fern Brady, Arthur Smith, Shane Gillis and Paul Sinha.

Opening act is the brilliant TAL DAVIES.
Tal is a comedian/writer/self-proclaimed scumbag who blends toe-curling anecdotes with dry observational humour, delivered with a warm, likeable stage presence and a deadpan Brummie accent.
A Funny Women finalist, British Comedian of the Year semi-finalist and BBC New Comedy Award semi-finalist.
She was described by Chortle as "A natural storyteller... with an innately affable, easy-going delivery".
And support comes from witty whirlwind JAKE BREEZE.
Jake is Manchester's premiere little bald fella (his words!), combining left-field observations and a chronic misunderstanding of basic concepts.

The comedy night is the brainchild of Dean Boodaghians-Nolan - an actor who lives in the village as part of his passion to ensure the community he loves has a wide-range of entertainment options in a venue that is already renowned for attracting brilliant performers for its live music nights.
Doors on June 13 will open at 6.30pm and the comedy starts at 8pm prompt.

Further Friday night comedy nights will be held at Thornton Hough Village Club on September 12 and November 14.
