You are warmly invited to the next Florence Park Talk on Wednesday, when we will enjoy hearing David Wiles, an eminent historian who has written extensively on the history of the theatre. He is a Professor at Exeter University.

David will explain the link between theatre, performance and the political process. Politicians have always been performers and have raided the world of theatre for ideas and techniques to communicate.

So there is lots to learn for those with uncluttered dark corners of one's psyche. David lives in Iffley and is a characterful engaging speaker
