Thornton Hough Village Club presents Paul Nowak & Band and Jon Keats.
PAUL NOWAK & BAND
Following a sold out gig at THVC in April and fresh on the heels of supporting Merseyside music legend Ian Prowse, Paul and his band return to THVC to launch their live EP ‘Lost & Found’. Expect songs about love, politics, cowboys and everything in between. Joining Paul on the night will be Jim Kench on cajon, Gav Lochhead on bass and Heidi Smith on fiddle.
JON KEATS has been performing as a resident artist in the Cavern Club for over 20 years. At the grand old age of 56, he finally released his debut album “Any Man Would Do the Same” last year on Cavern records. It consists of 12 “tortured love songs” as well as two bonus tracks produced by legendary Ringo/Aerosmith producer Mark Hudson. Rooted in Americana, Jon has recently played shows in Nashville, performing at the legendary EXIT/IN and a songwriter’s night at The Listening Room.
Jon will be joined by his old Crosby chum, John Fig, on double bass and Art Garfunkel style backing vocals!
