Event Information
Traditions around dealing with death saw a massive change in the 1800s, much of which we still see and practice today. From cemeteries to undertakers, how we deal with death is steeped in the Victorian familiarity with loss and the idea of what made a 'good death'.
Join Ghostoria for this online talk to hear about the history of funerary practices in Britain, how they have changed over the centuries, and the beautification of death which came out of it.
This session will take place on Zoom and will last around an hour and an additional Q&A at the end. You will receive a conformation email and link to the event from WeGotTickets, please make sure to check your spam and junk folders if you have not received your link before the event.
