The Rik van der Made Group is a young, energetic band that performs original compositions heavily influenced by melodic Northern European improvised music. This group of musicians, at the forefront of the European jazz scene, weave a unique, coherent, lyrical sonic tapestry that draws from a diverse array of genres including jazz, folk, classical and the music of modern piano trios.
Expect to be taken on a journey evoking the vastness of the Nordic terrain.
