Event information
Join us for a very special night of live music when we welcome Glasgow based singer songwriter Nicky Murray to play live in the beautiful, atmospheric setting of St Nicholas Church, Brockley where he will be sharing his original, captivating songs with us. Nicky launched his musical career in 2014 with his debut album 'Plenty More Weeping' and is known for his evocative lyrics, raspy vocals and deft fingerpicking to create spellbinding lyricism.
His new album 'How Long' has just been released and featured on BBC Scotland's Roddy Hart Show where it was a record of note.
This will be a rare opportunity to catch this artist in the West Country.
To find out more do visit Nicky Murray's website - https://www.nickymurraymusic.com
There will be a support slot from Frome based sufi singer songwriter Sarah Curtis who writes songs from the heart and you can find out more about her music at sarahcurtismusic.com
As well as enjoying a wonderful evening, we will be fundraising for the conservation of this historic Church. We will have a cash donation bar serving soft drinks, hot drinks, cakes and wine. Look out for directions to the car parking area and bring layers/coats as the facilities are outside.
