Event information
Laugh Cry Comedy Club brings you an amazing experience of live comedy with an extremely funny STUART LAWS along with London's best up and coming comedians.
Stuart Laws has supported James Acaster on his UK tours and has appeared on and written for Radio 4, BBC, Prime & UKTV, has two specials on NextUp Comedy and one on American label 800 Pound Gorilla Media. In 2021 he was nominated for Leicester Comedy Festival Best Show and in 2022 he was nominated for Comedians Choice Best Show. In 2023 his show was awarded 4.5⭐️ by Chortle and was filmed as a special after a national tour.
Sharlin Jahan (BBC 4's The Now Show, BBC Essex Radio) is a Bangladeshi, British, and Canadian Comedian who loves telling (yelling) at people about these things at pubs. "Jahan is an energetic, rumbustious presence." ★★★★★ Morning star. 'Undeniably impressive." ★★★★★ EdFringeReview
Sarah Mills is a BAFTA award-winning comedian who has performed all over the UK and abroad, appearing on TV on 'The Last Leg', 'Rosie Jones' Disability Extavaganza' and 'Morning Live'. High energy, optimistic and with an absurd take on the world around her, Sarah is living proof that good things come in small packages. “She’s very funny” - Dara O Briain.
Shruti Sharma performed at the prestigious Soho theatre, Soho Rising Festival 2023. She's a sassy comedian who pushes comedic boundaries between feminism and how much the men in her audience know about the women in their lives. She uses her international experience of having lived in India, France and the UK to make fun of idiosyncratic similarities.
Leo (he/him) is a new comedian with a good helping of evil sexiness and charm. He is awkward, he is clever and both are funny. Originally from Switzerland, his jokes are marvels of Swiss German engineering and sharper than any Swiss Army knife could ever be. The laughter still echoes from the Alps when he used to gig there. Now in London, his witty, anecdotal, and queer storytelling fits right in with the Brits and has them gagging for more flippant, fabulous, and Freudian rapid-fire punchlines mixed with flailing limbs and a bit of GERMAN HUMOR. Leo is "So you think your funny" semi finalist.
He will be supported by Sharlin Jahan, Sarah Mills, Saleha Masud, Mohaimen, Bec Adams, Leo Mahr alongside our resident MC Shruti Sharma.
Book your tickets now for this amazing line-up of comedians.
Please note the doors will open at 6:30pm and you are welcome to enjoy the delicious Thai food served at the pub. Would be ideal to place your food orders early so the show can start promptly at 8pm.
