Event information
In the seedy, industrial underground of South London's Venue MOT Unit 18, the notorious provocateurs Jeanieology and STUD unite for a night of electrifying chaos and excess to present an offering: Enter, VOYA—Cardiff’s very own decadent sound architects, fusing the lush throbbing pulse of early 80s synth-pop with an irresistible vulnerability that drips from their work. VOYA presents their DEBUT single, "2 Shy 4 Love" to you, the world.
VOYA- Linford Hydes, the enigmatic frontman trained in the halls of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, brings a powerhouse of ability, along with soulful crooning, recalling the melancholic brilliance of Bowie’s Berlin years, backed by the shimmering synth and guitar-scapes sculpted by Eddie Al-Shakarchi, a sonic sorcerer who co conjured Boy Azooga’s 2018's rise to glory. Together, backed by the operatic vocals of Welsh chanteuse, Jessy Allen. VOYA—a disarmingly seductive group awarded the prestigious Triskel Award, crowned one of the best emerging acts of 2024 by the Welsh Music Prize, headline the evening's affairs.
With support from Jeanie & the White Boys -emerged from London’s underground scene, named by Hackney’s drag icon Miss Sharon Le Grand. The band features Dom O Dair (formerly of TOY), Bleu Otis (Warmduscher), and frontwoman Jeanie Crystal , a visual artist and muse in the underground rock and queer scenes. Jeanie has worked with members of Fat White Family, Decius, Sworn Virgins, Josh Cafe, and Eliza Rose, who called them a "must-see" at Glastonbury’s Strummerville stage—only their second performance.
And from the depths of London’s shadows, Nexus_0 - a post-punk trio, self baptised "big beats, big ballads, and BIG bois"
And for the bewitching denouement: Josh Quinton the London-based DJ and filmmaker whose work is ever-present in London’s underground queer club scene will ignite the decks, joined by the wicked craftswoman Jeanie Crystal - the DJ and co-founder of FabooTV, the directorial mastermind behind the video for Eliza Rose’s international megahit ‘Baddest of the Them All’ (26 million views and counting) & lurking in the shadows with a devilish grin, Tiss—haunting frontman of Tiss Vampiric—emerges. His seven-piece vampire Cabaret from the underbelly of Leeds have been terrorising the innocent and inspiring the damned, with dramatic tempo changes, wistful lyricism, chugging basslines, diatonic guitar scratches, and an overall anarchic energy. This unique combination culminated in their 2023 macabre hit, Love's Suicide.
Poster design: Josh Quinton - who holds a unique collage artistic style that has also caught the eye of brands such as Christian Louboutin & Armani.

So, purchase your trashy ticket now darling...
