Follywren + Manu Louis at Jamboree

Saturday night at Jamboree with Follywren bringing together old-time Appalachian trance melodies and New Orleans second line rhythms, in the name of "Electric Old Time", with support from ace solo act Manu Louis. 

Headliners Follywren play traditional material and original compositions. Expect hypnotic syncopated picking, jangly guitar tones and reconstructed rhythms as they tastefully build on the foundation of old time music with the influence of psychedelic jazz, indie rock, and a dash of techno. 

In support, Belgium born, now Berlin-based Manu Louis is a passionate singer and knob agitator who plays the guitar in his own unique punk jazz way. He mixes things that cross his path, and creates new adventures of provocative and decontextualized juxtapositions, using ingredients from dissident chanson française, genial dilettante, avant-garde composers, new beat, old hits, art-pop & hard bop.

Also, our ‘Arepatoire’ kitchen is open from 6pm serving a delicious mix of Italian/Colombian food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
