We’d all make a mixtape
For on route to a show.
Genre didn’t matter, it was simply yours
Filled with songs that made you feel
Songs that you adored
So with a strong hint of nostalgia
On the last November night
We’re showing off a mixtape
Completely and utterly live.
8 artists will be playing,
Some you’ll know, some you won’t
But it’ll be a genre-mixing party
With Audio Junk Food as your host
We've got 7 AJF debuts, for all your lovely ears
So get the babysitter booked
Your out clothes on and prepare for many beers
But whilst music and shenanigans
Are something we're normally all about
This night has an added goal
For which it's time to shout
We're going to raise some money
For those that need it most
Our foodbank and our skatepark
Which for so many, bring hope
So join us at the Mixtape
On a cold November night
Every single penny raised
Will go towards the fight.
