Tap Water Records Presents... Eszter Vida + Teah Lewis at Sidney & Matilda
Tap Water Records is a woman-led artist services company based in Leeds, United Kingdom. This project began with a goal to promote a change in the industry by deconstructing management structures that live in a traditionally gendered organization. Our mission is to foster genuine relationships with artists across Yorkshire and to assist them in navigating the complexities of the music industry. On November 12th, we present a co-headline event featuring Eszter Vida and Teah Lewis with support from Curti$ and Luky D at Sidney & Matilda in Sheffield.
Teah Lewis:
'Teah is a cut above the rest in the singer-songwriter space today’ (Michael Sanford, Pink Wafer)
This year Teah released her second EP ‘Underweather’, Underweather EP takes a step away from the drums and synth used in debut EP Hold (March 2023), in favour of a mellow, folk sound featuring live brass, wind and strings and wistful lyrics.
In a live space, she is busy performing in DIY spaces across Sheffield and Yorkshire, and recently will sing as part of Sheffield Beatles at the Octagon Centre in December 2024 as one of four lead vocalists backed by a 25 piece band.
'Teah is a cut above the rest in the singer-songwriter space today’ (Michael Sanford, Pink Wafer)
Other live shows include: Tramlines Festival, Long Division and Live at Leeds. She supported Richard Hawley at his sold out Leadmill Residency. Other credits include: Gullivers Manchester, Square Chapel and Forty Five Vinyl in York.
‘Her voice is absolutely next level; a pure songstress even without her full band to back her’ - FLAW Magazine on Richard Hawley Support
She has twice been featured in Christian Carlisle’s Top 50 songs on BBC Introducing Sheffield for ‘Magnolia’ and ‘Anymore’. She has been featured multiple times on BBC Introducing and Chill playlists on Amazing radio.
’I don’t know what particular magic or witchcraft happened when you came together, but you have created something truly beautiful‘ (Christian Carlisle, BBC Introducing on ‘Magnolia’)

Eszter Vida is a musician and singer-songwriter from Warrington, England who now resides in the bustling city of Leeds with her close bandmates (or as some refer to them as "The Vida's"). Eszter is the first artist to sign with artist management under Tap Water Records as she headlined the official Tap Water Records launch event on September 22nd at Oporto in Leeds. Eszter's vivid storytelling abilities mixed with her band's immersive and ethereal production, makes her a standout act in the indie Leeds scene. With singles like "Paper Rounds" and "Kingdom" reaching airplay on BBC Introducing Leeds & Sheffield, Eszter Vida's music highlights wondrous narratives that reflect the musical style of the likes of PJ Harvey and Wolf Alice.
