Event information
An evening of traditional French and Breton dancing with live music by the fabulous Dragonsfly, a Westcountry band known for their upbeat Celtic and world folk music; playing for us their exhilarating French dance repertoire.
A super fun evening of joyful music, dance and community togetherness with a wonderful variety of traditional couple and circle dances; such as the Polka, Schottische, Mazurka, Waltz, Chapelloise, Andro, Hanter-dro, Laride and Bourree. Some are earthy, some romantic and some just fun!
From 7-8 there will be a dance workshop for learning and practice. It's suitable for all levels and is highly recommended. Then from 8-11 we will dance the night away with enough support and instruction to make it fun and easy for everyone to participate.
Bring your own cold drinks or alcohol. Teas will be available for a donation.
Tickets £12 in advance or £14 on the door plus ticketing fees
