IOTA (Sally Barker, Anna Ryder & Marion Fleetwood) leaves audiences dazzled, with phrases such as 'luscious' and 'beautifully crafted' tripping off people's tongues at the end of a performance.
All three write the songs, sing and play everything on their debut CD '0 YEH YEH !'. It has been described by Nigel Schofield [Tykes News] as "Three voices that seamlessly combine in rich, fulfilling harmonies with a wealth of instruments to draw upon and create a rich, varied, satisfying sound that simply makes you want to smile."
Sally Barker (vocal, guitar & percussion) sang to millions as Tom Jones' finalist on The Voice UK but the singer-songwriter has entertained for years as a member of revered fern-folk group The Poozies, of the re-formed Fotheringay and as a solo artist supporting Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Richard Thompson.
Anna Ryder (vocal, keys, accordion, guitar, banjo & French horn) is a musical dynamo; an original and inventive singer-songwriter with a musical style that spans an array of genres. Amongst others Anna has worked with Fairport Convention, Eddi Reader, Julianne Regan (All About Eve).
The blazingly dynamic Marion Fleetwood (vocal, fiddle, cello, guitar & percussion) is a highly respected multi-instrumentalist and singersongwriter. Best known as a member of TRADarrr and as a former member of Colvin Quarmby.
"Three witty, intelligent and above all superbly musical women. All great solo performers in their own right. Together, beautiful harmonies and quality songwriting, backed up classy multi-instrumentalists." Phil Beer {Show Of Hands]
"When the planets align, great things happen. Now three stars have!"
Simon Nicol [Fairport Convention]
