Event information
The nights are getting longer and colder so treat yourself as 1st Friday returns with live music as we welcome The Mighty Toodle and the Pips. They are a covers band, formed by experienced musicians in 2010 who have a deserved reputation for flexibility and good time entertaining.
Band members are:
Gary Ellis - Lead Vocalist
Gary is blessed with a soulful and versatile voice that brings quality and depth to the sound of the band together with its ability to deliver a greater breadth of material.
“Smeggy” - Drums and Vocals
A fully qualified survivor from the famous “Cartoon” (Croydon) days. With a list of Band credits as long as your arm and session work in his portfolio he is an extremely experienced drummer who has toured America and Europe.
Vaclav Benes - Bass Guitar
An import from the Czech Republic, Vaclav’s almost virtuoso style provides a solid and lyrical platform for the band.
Hamish Duncan - Guitar and Vocals
The old codger of the group he was tempted from the classical guitar repertoire by his son and delivers various styles of rhythm and lead.
Rory Duncan - Guitar and Vocals
Power and panache is this man's forte. Anyone with the slightest interest in guitar appears transfixed by this irritatingly talented young man who is the son of Hamish.
The Father/Son relationship is amusing when they play live together.
