Event information
Come and take part in our fantastic CLOTHES SWAP EVENT at a gorgeous new venue. Swap up to 10 items of adult clothing, up to 5 items of children's clothing & 1 item of homeware. The perfect way to refresh your wardrobe.
CLOTHES SWAP - How it works
We accept items from high street to designer. Swapping works on a points system so for each item you bring, you will receive a point. Bring good quality items you'd be happy to gift to a friend.
The Points System
Basic high street brands = 1 point
Mid range high street brands = 2 points
High end high street brands = 3 points
Designer/High value items = 5 points
You can then pick items from the swap shop that you like and redeem for your points. Any leftover points can be used at one of our future events.
WHAT TO BRING
Up to 10 items of Womenswear or Menswear including shoes/bags/accessories/jewellery. Please make sure clothes are clean and in brilliant condition with no rips, tears, missing buttons etc and no swimwear or underwear please.
You can also bring up to 5 items of Childrenswear and 1 item of Homeware as long as it is in giftable condition. Please make sure toiletries and make up etc are new and unused.
DROP OFF IN ADVANCE
There are two options for Drop off, either on the day or contact the organiser to arrange a drop off in Beckenham the week before the swap.
ON THE DAY Please drop items off between 9:30-10:30am (if you haven't done a drop off already). Items will be assessed on arrival and displayed on the rails by our lovely assistants. You're then welcome to go and relax in the Branching Out Cafe. We'll get everything ready and you can come back at the time stated on your ticket ready for the swap. We have timed entry at 11am and 12pm (these are limited to a maximum of 20 tickets per time slot).
SWAP TIMINGS
The swap will be open from 11-1pm.
Browse the rails and when you're ready, bring your chosen items to the checkout desk.
If you don't use all your points, don't worry, you can use them at our next clothes swap.
