Pioneering DJ and member of Visage and Rich Kids, Rusty Egan, will be appearing at Beat The Clock Records’ downstairs events room in Hove discussing his career with the hosts of popular YouTube channel “Electronic Cafe”.

Rusty sculpted the soundtrack to a generation in his position as DJ at London’s legendary Blitz Club. Fusing David Bowie and Kraftwerk, amongst others, to formulate the sonic backdrop for the New Romantic movement, whilst his club colleague and band mate, Steve Strange, blended flamboyant fashions to create the look.

Rusty has recently curated a CD and Vinyl set entitled “Blitzed”, bringing together the many bands that were part of his vision.

As well as discussing his career, the evening will be open to an audience Q&A session and signing autographs.

Doors open at 6.30pm.
The venue has limited unreserved seating and a standing area.
