Event information
Brigyn are celebrating 20 years! Since releasing their first album in 2004, brothers Ynyr and Eurig Roberts’ melodic alt-folk anthems and ballads have received plentiful airplay World Wide. Famous for their unique rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”, Brigyn’s unique sound has allowed them to perform at some of UK’s leading folk festivals too, including The Green Man festival and Glasgow’s Celtic Connections.
Carwyn Ellis is a prolific figure on the U.K. alternative pop scene who began his solo career with Colorama, a psychedelic-leaning project and has subsequently worked on collaborations with Edwyn Collins and as a member of the Pretenders touring band. He made his full-length Carwyn Ellis & Rio 18 debut with the Brazilian pop-influenced ‘Joia’ in 2019 and in recent years has also released two solo albums - Across The Water (2022) and Ni A Nhw (2023).
Buddug - please note Buddug will no longer be performing at this concert. A new guest will be announced shortly.
