Reckoner is a post-hardcore five piece & one of the most exciting acts to recently emerge from the Midlands alternative music scene. Making an immediate impact with a strong debut EP & an explosive live show, Reckoner has already been tipped for great success.
Likened to bands such as Underoath, Norma Jean & Every Time I Die, the group notably take strong influence from their love of cinematic sound score & sound design; a prominent feature throughout their repertoire.
The band’s dramatic live show is a blend of high energy & atmospheric mesmerism. Reckoner have already appeared on festival main stages such as Mangata, Badlands & The Rock & Blues playing alongside the likes of Heart Of A Coward, Hacktivist & Raging Speedhorn. Their first headline show was quick to sell out, with following headliners following suit & gaining the band popularity in regions away from home turf.
The band’s debut EP ‘I Am What You Will Become’ was well received, with tens of thousands of streams to date, numerous playlists spots & multiple singles getting airtime on BBC Radio 1. In a short space of time, Reckoner have already established themselves firmly into the alternative music scene & it is of no surprise that they are regularly billed as ‘ones to watch’.
