Steve Royle has had a career that has spanned everything from the Royal Variety Performance, to Phoenix Nights to coming third on Britain’s Got Talent. A first rate comedy act with unashamed vaudevillian echoes. A highly skilled juggler, Steve holds the official world records for balancing a Christmas tree on his chin and an ironing board on his foot. Much as we love Steve, we do sometimes worry about him…
“Comedy masterclass” The Stage “A brilliant comedian” Peter Kay
Chris Washington made his Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2017 with his self-produced show, ‘Dream Big (Within Reason)’ after taking all his annual leave in his full-time job as a postman. The gamble paid off with Chris receiving a nomination for Best Newcomer despite having no management, promoter or PR. A feel-good underdog story which he describes as ‘getting five numbers and the bonus ball on the comedy lottery’. Jokes are now the only things Chris has to deliver and his sack is positively bulging with them. Telly appearances include Live from the BBC, Mock the Week and Richard Osman’s House of Games.
