Event information
Celebrated Company of Singers VOCAL HIGH return with their Winter Warmer concert, a tapestry of songs and music for a winters night!
Under the direction of Paula Evans and with the live accompaniment of pianist Chris Long, this accomplished Gaggle of Songsters present their own unique arrangements of familiar and unfamiliar songs - from Medieval chant to Massive Attack; from Kate Bush to the vocalised percussion sounds of Indian classical music; from traditional English folksong to the Electric Light Orchestra and beyond!
As in their 3 sell-out concerts in 2022, raising funds to support victims of the war in Ukraine, Vocal High will be joined by Iranian master musician ROUZBEH PARSA, bringing the transcendent sounds of the Persian violin into the mix. Other guest musicians are expected to join in too - the music is going to be hot!
