Event information

Beneath Oxfordshire's starry skies on the echoes of South Wales, Dolly Mavies serenades under a harvest moon, weaving tales of life's mysteries.

Her melodies enchant the soul, and her lyrics deliver a visceral punch. 'The Calm and The Storm,' her eagerly awaited debut album, has garnered critical acclaim and secured support from BBC Introducing, BBC 6 Music as one of Tom Robinson's favourites, and Absolute Radio as Artist of the month.
Channeling a timeless quality, her music is like an old friend - familiar and reassuring yet brutally honest and unexpected. With authenticity and a natural energy, she effortlessly navigates from fiery rock passion to gentle folky lullabies, each note resonating with heartfelt sincerity.
Joined by her exceptional band, when they step onto the stage, it's not merely a performance; it's an experience. Her music moves the soul, blurring eras and genres with heart-wrenching lyrics and foot stomping, spirit-igniting anthems.
Dolly Mavies has already graced the stages at Glastonbury, Wychwood, Camper Calling, The Long Road, Rowachella and more, and her star is most definitely on the rise.

“You can hear quality as soon as she starts. She has a beautiful essence to her vocal, a natural energy, it's not forced in any way, it feels so heartfelt and genuine and quite a personal touch.” Danielle Perry, Absolute Radio (Absolute Radio song of the month and unsigned artist of the month November 2023)

“We love what she’s doing” Bob Harris, BBC Radio 2

“She’s one of my favourites. Her music is breathtakingly atmospheric” Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 Music

Pen in hand, ribbon in hair, 18 year old singer songwriter Isabel Maria has been shattering expectations since 2021. Having recently won a North East Culture Award - to join the Alan Hull and Northern Writers Awards sitting proudly on her bookshelf - Isabel’s alternative pop dialogues of mental health, human relationships, and self deprecation have earned her international praise from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and Rolling Stone Español.

Based in Sunderland, UK - a recently coined ‘music city’ - Isabel’s career had humble beginnings with secret songs written on her grandad’s old Casio. After generous support from the city’s Young Musicians Project, those songs hit the ears of the public, earning Isabel hundreds of thousands of collective streams and a frequent run of shows across the nation and beyond.

For fans of Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and Gracie Abrams, Isabel’s music is a true showcase of her emotional vulnerability and biting wit, and should be watched closely all throughout 2025.
