21 December - Phil Beer. Plays guitar and fiddle. Sings a bit.
That's one understated description of this charismatic musician (who also plays mandolin and ukulele). Best known as half of folk duo Show of Hands, Phil is a wonderful solo performer. Laid back and charming, he's a great raconteur with an engaging stage presence and his pre-Christmas show will be magical as he carries his audience effortlessly through a wonderful musical evening, with a fair bit of laughter on the way.
