The sinister yet beguiling images that DARKHER paints with her ethereal vocals, layered guitars, and atmospheric strings, reflects Her mostly eerie , sonic storytelling.

DARKHER was conceived as the sole brainchild and solo-project of Northern English singer , guitarist and composer Jayn Maiven in 2012. The dark and melancholic yet also massively heavy sound , takes inspiration from the dramatic landscapes around Hebden Bridge, as it reflects the emotional landscapes within, this features in the 2015 EP "The Kingdom Field" , The first album 'Realms' and the most recent follow up album 'The Buried Storm' all via Prophecy Productions (Germany).
