Event information
Tales Tattled & Told is proud to present Sarah Rundle, West End actress and one of Britain’s most outstanding professional storytellers, as she brings her brilliantly irreverent Naughty Japanese Badgers show to Stony Stratford for the last event of StonyWords Literary Festival.
Trigger Warning: Japanese badgers are VERY NAUGHTY. They tip over bins, they shapeshift, and, well, some of the things they do are, frankly, unspeakable. Naturally, Sarah’s going to tell us all about it; Including, apparently, Spoiler Alert: massive expanding scrotums. It will, of course, all be done in the best possible taste!
Ben Haggarty (a giant of world storytelling) describes Sarah Rundle's storytelling as '... truly magical... it sparkles with a particularly glorious humour.'
The first half of the evening will include 10-15 minute stories from Lynette Hill, Stephen Hobbs, Pete Boyce, Terrie Howey-Moore and, fingers crossed, the 2025 Bard of Stony Stratford.
And, the exciting music of Hardcastle & Scott.
After the interval it will be over to Sarah for her one hour Naughty Japanese Badgers show. Join us in celebrating National Storytelling Week (01/02/2025-09/02/2025).
Alcoholic and soft drinks will be available from the bar.
