Event information

The incredible Mr Orphy Robinson MBE presents The Vibes Describes by our very own and globally renowned Vibraphonist, and NJA Trustee .

He sits on a variety of jazz and wider music industry Boards and committees representing composers, performers and educators and he has a magnificent musical CV extending over 40 years including being one of only a few UK jazz musicians to be signed by Blue Note Records, as a Founder member of the UK's most influentional collective the Jazz Warriors and working with Don Cherry, Jean Luc Ponty, Sun Ra Arkestra and Nigel Kennedy....to name but a few!

With a CV like that you can only expect a fabulous band to sit alongside him and telling us an “illustrated” story of the vibraphone in jazz,
