We Are Not Devo – Here we are, surveying the cerebrally challenged apefest that is the 21st Century, and we have to conclude that the De-Evolution Band were bang on the money…We Are ALL Devo…yes, we have definitely devolved, just like Devo said was happening nigh on 50 years ago.
And, as the actual Devo, genius mavericks of post punk futurist pop and satirical psych grind, are now sadly retired from the live arena, we celebrate the De-Evolution Band in Camden Town’s premier music venue with a fab performance by We Are Not Devo, the UK, nay the Wiggly World's premier Devo tribute band.
If you were ever lucky enough to see the real thing on stage, you'll know just how good they were live. Well these guys and gal give equal amounts Satisfaction and then some. They were absolutely storming last time round here in the DC, which was on the very afternoon of the final UK Devo show, in some Godforsaken enormodome across town. Prepare to Pooty Poot Poot (before Pooty poots us!)
