Event information
In this dramatic story woven from a Russian myth and a Hebridean folk tale, a young hero’s courage and resolve are sorely tested and a life hangs in the balance. Richard’s vivid telling is enhanced by beautiful melodies played by Liz on the lever harp.
Richard York runs Northampton’s “Storytelling at the Feast of Fools” as well as telling stories at heritage sites and for events; as a traditional and historical multi-instrumentalist, music is always a part of his performances.
Liz York, another multi-instrumentalist, sings, and plays mainly harps, which she has played for weddings, ceilidhs, music therapy work, and much more.
They have both played in major heritage sites, in village halls, and many places between.
