A Night of Gothic Rock and Dark Post Punk
Featuring:
The Black Capes - The Black Capes are a 5-piece deathrock/post punk band from Athens, Greece (drums, bass, 2 x guitars, vocals).
The band has released three LPs: “All These Monsters” (2017), “ Lullabies for the Dead” (2020) via German label darkTunes, and “Looks Like Death” (2022) via Ikaros records in Europe and The Council of Bones in the USA. All three albums were produced by Peter Rutcho (Danny Elfman, Falling In Reverse, Parkway Drive etc.) with artwork from the rock poster legend Angry Blue (Metallica, Lil Wayne, Iggy Pop, Soundgarden, the Pixies, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam etc.) The Black Capes have been featured numerous times in the international music press such as Legacy, Metal Hammer, Powerplay, Rock Hard etc. and have been featured as band-of-the-month in Orkus magazine, having entered the German alternative charts in the past. The band has toured around Europe and have shared the stage with the likes of Perturbator, Theatre of Hate, Two Witches and Paradise Lost among others making live shows their strongest suit.
Reliquia - Reliquia is a UK-based quintet that plays music as equally inspired by post-punk, goth and darkwave as it is by gothic, black and doom metal. Founded in 2023 in Manchester, England, Reliquia fuses goth rock and gothic doom metal with songwriting inspired by the likes of The Sisters of Mercy, Fields of the Nephilim and The Mission but peppered with influences from heavy gothic doom bands such as Katatonia, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride and more.
Dierotica - Dierotica are a 3-piece Queer Goth-Grunge-Shoegaze hybrid band from Manchester, UK. Taking the stage in mid-2024, they mash up influendes across the spectrum of darker alternative music, landing somewhere between the darkness and atmosphere of Scarling and the visceral bite of Bratmobile and early Hole.
