Laugh Cry Comedy Club brings you an amazing experience of live comedy with an extremely funny Aaron Simmonds along with London's best up and coming comedians.
Aaron Simmonds has been failing to stand up for 30 years; luckily he is far better at comedy than standing up. He has a unique perspective on life, usually of people's belly buttons, which gives him stories to tell, and a sore neck.
Simmonds’s comedic style is story-based, with clever one-liners interspersed throughout. He offers sharply-observed comedy which is grounded in his disability, but is by no means limited by it. Amiable, likeable and with a commanding presence on stage, Aaron is an exciting talent and is destined for great things.
The award winning comedian holds many accolades including Finalist, Amused Moose Best Show; Nominee, Broadway World UK Best Comedy Show; Winner, Jewish Comedian Of The Year; Finalist, BBC New Comedian of the Year.
Aaron Simmonds's TV appreances include The Russell Howard Hour, Sky Max; Guessable and Undeniable, Comedy Central; The Stand Up Sketch Show, ITV2; BBC At The Edinburgh Festivals; BBC New Comedy Award; The Edinburgh Show, BBC Scotland; Unexpected Fluids, BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra; Laura Whitmore's Sunday Session, BBC Radio 5 Live; The Afternoon Show, BBC Scotland.
Australian Born Comedian Laura McMahon gained her first finalist credit just six months into stand up has since worked with Soho Theatre, the BBC and supported tours nationally and internationally. 'An engaging personality, who hits the ground running.' -Chortle.
Jacob Hatton is a stand-up and writer with a penchant for joke writing to back his sharp observations and flights of fancy. He was a finalist at the Hastings Fringe Best Newcomer in 2022, host of AAA Stand Up at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023 where he wrote one of the Daily Telegraph's Best Jokes of the Fringe in 2023. In London Jacob is a resident compere at Laugh Train Home and Broadway Catford Comedy club.
“a clear comic talent” (Beyond the Joke) Caroline Madds is a Finalist in the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny Awards, New Act of the Year Showcase, and Bath New Act of The Year, her sharp humour tackles the real issues of the day:TK Maxx addiction, finding the bottom of bottomless brunch and the demand for a Trigger warnings for bootcut jeans.
Andrew Coleman is an award-winning comedian delivering witty one-liners and high-energy stories. Winner of The Blackout at UTC Comedy Club, the INGTE competition 2022 and a Max Turner finalist in 2022. Usually silly, rarely profound, weirdly tall, Andrew is a resident comedian at Comedy Bandits and regular at The Blackout in Greenwich. His comedy style is endearing and leaves the audience with laughter induced endorphins.
Shruti Sharma performed at the prestigious Soho theatre, Soho Rising Festival 2023. She's a sassy comedian who pushes comedic boundaries between feminism and how much the men in her audience know about the women in their lives. She uses her international experience of having lived in India, France and the UK to make fun of idiosyncratic similarities.
Book your tickets now for this amazing line-up of comedians.
Please note the doors will open at 6:30pm and you are welcome to enjoy the delicious Thai food served at the pub. Would be ideal to place your food orders early so the show can start promptly at 8pm.
