Uh-oh they did it again! Brick Lane Jazz Festival X Sounds Queer return this Christmas, bringing the London Queer Jazz Scene to Juju's Bar & Stage for our raucous Xmas Party with the best queeratives from the capital on Saturday 7th December!

Featuring fabulous live performances by Intervention, Charles + DJ set by Shivum Sharma & Toby Corton.

Intervention, led by Lya Reis Guerrero with powerful vocals from Plumm and Latinx pianist Eliane Correa, seamlessly merges organic and electronic sounds. Their electrifying blend of Latin, soul, and electro influences, full of improvisation and fresh compositions, promises an immersive multi-sensory experience—you won’t want to miss it!

Joining them is Charles, a rising star in London’s underground scene, fusing neo-soul, R&B, and funk. His smooth melodies and infectious rhythms take listeners on a heartfelt journey through love, life, and self-discovery.

After the live shows, the decks are Shivum Sharma's, an Indian-Irish artist known for his genre-blurring Alternative Pop, influenced by Erykah Badu and Björk. His acclaimed EP Diamond premiered on Gay Times, earned radio play on BBC stations, and was Jamz Supernova’s #1 pick on BBC 1Xtra! Closing the night is Toby Corton, Sounds Queer co-founder and a “charismatic queer cockney creative” from East London, blending British soul with a modern indie twist. With support from Dazed, Wonderland, and BBC Introducing, Toby’s performances have racked up over 500,000 views on his COLORS show, and he’s co-founded Sounds Queer.
