‘From the Heart’ is the culmination of pledges made by people from all walks of life to learn a poem by heart and recite it in front of an audience. This popular celebratory event is hosted by Maggie Sawkins, recipient of the Ted Hughes Award for New Work in Poetry. Described as an Anarchic Musical Boot! Les Kazoos D’Amour are an entertaining, lively and quirky mix of music and song brought to you by local legends, Janet Ayers & Matthews Parsons.
