Event information
The Munch Manship Quartet is Manchester’s finest musicians coming together to prove that jazz can be as effortless as it is entertaining. Munch takes the lead on saxophone, delivering melodies with enough style to make you wonder if he’s secretly a jazz wizard. He’s joined by Paul Kilvington on piano, whose improvisations are so inventive, even he doesn’t know where they’ll go next.
On bass, Dave Lynane keeps things grounded with grooves that are steady enough to build a house on—if you were building a house out of pure jazz. And then there's the incredible Dave Hassell on drums, whose rhythm is so infectious, even the cymbals can’t stop tapping along. Together, they form a musical utopia that’s as tight as it is fun—proof that sometimes, the best things in life are perfectly in sync.
