Event information
During this fun and easy-going workshop you will create a mosaic heart using mosaic glass tesserae and broken china. On Saturday Jane will guide you through all the skills and techniques required to create your mosaic, and on Sunday how to grout and finish it to a high standard.
Suitable for all, beginners and those who have done a little mosaic in the past. All materials will be provided, but do feel free to bring any broken crockery you have at home to include in your mosaic should you wish.
About the Tutor
Jane is an experience mosaic artist, printmaker and tutor. With a background in printed textiles and surface design she has a particular interest in the social and wellbeing benefits of art and creativity.
This workshop runs over two days over one weekend. Saturday 8th February 10:30am - 4pm and Sunday 9th February 2-4:30pm. Lunch is included on the Saturday.
Please note this event must meet our minimum number requirements in order to run. If we do not meet this requirement you will be notified at least a week prior to the start of the course and issued with a full refund including the booking fee.
