Aura – Female fronted uber cool indie with nice punky guitars…from Belly to Blondie via The Primitives, Aura tap into a rich vein of gal fronted new wave and indie.

Canada Hill – a three-piece influenced by the British pop and indie bands of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s… their name, Canada Hill, is inspired by a viewpoint near Rothesay in West Scotland, where friends and relatives waived a last goodbye to loved ones sailing across the Atlantic to a new life. Nice.

Foreign Voices – Pearl Jam informed indie grunge… Illustrate magazine said- “Beneath the polished veneer of the music industry, there are still bands willing to embrace the raw and authentic spirit of rock. It’s an unabashedly direct and unpolished sonic journey that harkens back to the rock era of the ’90s while staying firmly rooted in the present.”

Michael Steele – Difficult to pair an acoustic with strings and not scream Bryter Later but this fellah pulls it off, and alongside the Nick Drake influence he’s got a bit of a Simon and Garfunkel vibe what with with the sweet harmonizing.
